Duke Edinburgh Program

The Duke of Edinburgh's International award

EasyAdventurs

At EasyAdventurs we collaborate with educational centres, international schools and educational organisations for the development of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, one of the most internationally recognised youth development programmes.

Our programs are designed from an educational and experiential approach, supporting young people in their personal growth through real challenges, outdoor activity, coexistence and learning outside the classroom, always in coordination with the educational center and within the framework of the Award.

What is the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award?

Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is an international educational programme aimed at young people, focused on personal, social and emotional development, through continued participation in four key areas:

  • Volunteering
  • Physical activity
  • Skill development
  • Expedition / Adventure

The program promotes values such as perseverance, responsibility, cooperation, leadership and self-improvement, through structured and progressive experiences.

Training, Practice Expedition

At EasyAdventurs we support schools in the different phases of the Award:

  • Pre-shipment training and preparation
  • Practice outings
  • Qualifying Expedition
  • Route planning and logistics
  • Security and risk management
  • Accompaniment during expeditions
The activities take place in selected natural environments, appropriate to the level of the group and the requirements of the Award.

Program Levels

The Award is organized in three progressive levels, adapted to the age, experience and commitment of the participants.

Bronze Level

First level of the program. It introduces participants to the philosophy of the Award and teamwork.

  • Focus on basic planning and cooperation
  • First contact with expedition and autonomy in the natural environment
  • Ideal as a start in experiential education programs
2 days / 1 night expedition

Silver Level

Intermediate level, with greater demand and responsibility.

  • Greater degree of autonomy in decision-making.
  • More demanding expeditions and better planning
  • Deeper development of personal and social skills

3 days / 2 nights expedition

Gold Level

Advanced level of the program, which requires a high level of personal commitment.

  • Expeditions of longer duration and complexity
  • High level of autonomy and leadership
  • Includes an additional residential experience
  • Clear focus on maturity, initiative, and responsibility

4 days / 3 nights expedition, plus additional residential experience

The duration of the program may vary depending on the educational design of the center.
The complete program is developed over several months, integrating preparation, practice and final expedition.

Educational approach and experiential learning

Our work is based on principles of experiential education and outdoor learning, where participants:

Connect with nature responsibly

Strengthen resilience and personal confidence

Improve communication and teamwork

They learn to plan and make real decisions

They develop autonomy and responsibility

The programme is integrated into the educational project of the centre.

International dimension

EasyAdventurs works with European schools and also collaborates with Asian companies and educational organisations, developing international Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programmes and educational experiences adapted to groups from Asia. This international dimension provides added value in terms of cultural exchange, multicultural coexistence and global projection.
